A Surprising School Day

A teacher saw a little boy in the back of the class fidgeting, scratching himself, and not focusing. Concerned, she approached him to find out what was happening. The boy, feeling awkward, quietly explained that he had recently undergone circumcision and was feeling itchy. The teacher advised him to go to the principal’s office, call his mom, and ask for guidance on how to deal with the discomfort.

“I told you to phone your Mom!” she yelled. “I did,” he replied, “and she said if I could wait until noon, she’d come and pick me up from school.”
