Joe Biden’s Daughter Shares Heartfelt Hospital Update Amid Cancer Battle

Ashley Biden, the daughter of former U.S. President Joe Biden, has shared a touching update from the hospital regarding her father’s ongoing fight against cancer.

In May, Biden announced that he had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. The 82-year-old revealed that he was exploring multiple treatment options after doctors discovered a small nodule on his prostate during an examination for urinary symptoms.

A statement from his office at the time explained, “Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms. On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone. While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive, which allows for effective management.”

Earlier this week, a spokesperson confirmed that Biden had been undergoing radiation therapy and hormone treatment as part of his care plan. “The cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive, which allows for effective management,” the spokesperson reiterated.

According to Hello Magazine, Ashley Biden has now provided another update following her father’s latest round of treatment. In a short video shared on Instagram, the former president was seen ringing the bell at Penn Medicine Radiation Oncology in Philadelphia, a symbolic gesture marking the completion of a round of radiation therapy.

Ashley, who has nearly 29,000 followers on Instagram, captioned the video: “Rung the Bell! Thank you to the incredible doctors, nurses, and staff at Penn Medicine. We are so grateful!”

She also posted a family photo taken at the hospital with the caption, “Dad has been so damn brave throughout his treatment. Grateful.”

Speaking earlier about his diagnosis, Biden expressed optimism. “It’s all a matter of taking a pill, one particular pill, for the next six weeks and then another one,” he said. “The prognosis is good. We’re working on everything. It’s moving along. So I feel good.”

The former president continues to receive widespread support from his family, friends, and the public. Many have sent messages of strength and prayers as he continues his treatment.
