Aside from Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Diana was one of the most famous members of the British Royal Family. Her death in 1997 was a big loss, and people still talk about her a lot. Artist Alper Yesiltas made some AI portraits of famous people, including Diana, to show how they might look if they were alive today. Many were surprised by how real and impressive Diana’s portrait looked.
Diana was born into a noble British family. She married Prince Charles in 1981 and became the Princess of Wales. People really liked her. But her marriage had problems, and they separated in 1992 and divorced in 1996. Diana died in a car crash in Paris on August 31, 1997. Even though Diana passed away tragically, people still remember her 27 years later. She was famous for her style, grace, and being a great mom. She didn’t just want to be known for being a royal, but also for being a wonderful mother.
Alper Yesiltas, who lives in Istanbul, Turkey, has been taking pictures and practicing law for about 18 years. His photos and artworks have won awards and been featured in books, magazines, and websites worldwide.
Recently, Yesiltas gained attention online for sharing pictures he created using Artificial Intelligence. He made portraits of famous people like Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, and Princess Diana. He called his series “As If Nothing Happened” and imagined how these celebrities might look in 2022 if they were still alive.
Yesiltas said in an interview that he wanted to bring back people he missed by using this technology. He made sure Princess Diana’s portrait looked majestic and captured her timeless beauty. If Diana hadn’t died in the car crash in 1997, she would have been 63 years old in 2024. Maybe she could have helped her sons, William and Harry, mend their relationship. She might have met her daughters-in-law, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, and her five grandchildren.
